Chelsea Hickok

Chelsea Hickok Family Law AttorneyChelsea’s road to becoming a family law attorney has been a long one. Chelsea attended the University of Oregon (go Ducks!) and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Immediately after graduation, Chelsea joined the Peace Corps and served as an education volunteer in Mozambique, Africa from 2008-2010. Upon her return, Chelsea began working in the legal field as a trial assistant and paralegal to gain valuable knowledge and practical experience prior to attending law school.

Chelsea began at Lewis & Clark Law School in August of 2013 and immediately focused on family law. Chelsea was Vice President of the school’s family law society and participated in an unpaid externship with St. Andrew Legal Clinic to assist low-income families in all aspects of family law. During law school, Chelsea also interned at the Oregon Department of Justin, Child Advocacy Section and assisted DHS with particularly difficult child abuse cases. Chelsea was admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 2017 but her passion for helping others has long been her focus.

Chelsea joined Thompson Law Group, LLC as an associate attorney in April 2018. Today, Chelsea approaches every case with knowledge, professionalism, patience and compassion. Her dedication to cultivating a wide-range of experiences is invaluable to any family law case.

In her free time, Chelsea enjoys spending time with her husband and their adorable dog, Duke. Chelsea enjoys hiking, mushroom hunting, eating delicious meals, and sleeping in on the weekends.
