COVID-19 Parenting Time

The Oregon Statewide Family Law Advisory Committee (SFLAC) published Recommendations for Oregon Courts: Information for Parents sharing Custody or Parenting Time of Children During the COVID-19 Pandemic in late March 2020. This document is only a recommendation from an advisory panel, but many counties in Oregon have the recommendations posted on their official court websites. Several Oregon County Court Presiding Judges have adopted the recommendations and issued them as orders. Thompson Law anticipates other county court Presiding Judges to similarly adopt the recommendations and issue them as orders soon. Once adopted as an order from the county court which has jurisdiction over your matter, the order is binding and must be followed.
